Pompano Beach is a south Florida center for warehouses with a focus on construction supplies including ceramic tiles. Through the mosaic team project, a lead artist both designed mosaics and trained young artists to install the work. The Trail of the Honey Bees was implemented by the mosaic team to honor the history of farming and the historic African-American hotel with the honey bee insignia. The first lead artist has been Sonata Kazimieraitiene.
